Estimator/Dispatcher Assistant - Tucson, AZ at Varitech Commercial Services – Tucson, Arizona

Varitech Commercial Services, a Tech24 Company, are a full-service commercial kitchen equipment repair company. We provide complete foodservice equipment maintenance and repair services for restaurants, QSRs, convenience stores, retailers, coffee shops, and concessions operations; specializing in commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment. We are a nationwide company, headquartered in Greenville, SC with local branches located coast to coast.

The Estimator will be communicating closely with Technicians to help identify and outline recommended scopes of work for equipment repair solutions. Estimator will also be responsible for submitting these estimates, both verbally and formally, including customer follow up and pursuit of proposal approval.

The Estimator should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask and be a strong communicator through a variety of mediums.

Duties:

• Effectively and efficiently create estimates for pending jobs
• Create professional written estimates to forward for customer approval
• Work closely with the parts specialist to ensure accurate part pricing
• Work closely with the service manager and department head to ensure accurate pricing on the estimate overall
• Follow up with the customer for estimate approval
• Maintain consistency in estimates for the same customer and between customers
• Create and suggest procedures to streamline the estimate process
• Work closely with the technicians to ensure all necessary information is available to complete the estimate

Requirements:

• HS Diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years estimating experience preferred
• Above average computer stills including Microsoft Office and Google on-line tools, as well as ability to assimilate CFR/Tech24 business software including utilization of the documents section of the Customer Master
• General understanding of the enterprise operations
• In depth understanding of departments procedures and functions
• Ability to type estimates efficiently and effectively
• High level of organizational skills
• Ability to professionally interact with customers and team members
• Observe all company procedures and safety rules
