This remote position will coordinate and complete centralized purchasing functions for the Affiliate.

Snapshot of key accountabilities of the Purchasing Manager:
- Manage centralized purchasing system and ensure optimal inventory levels to support business operations.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
- Analyzing costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and managing procurement budgets.
- Partner with health center leadership to set par levels per health center location.
- Ensure invoice pricing matches negotiated contract rates.
- Research /implement potential new vendors and GPO’s to ensure best pricing on goods and services.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing.
- Assist with the implementation of DSCSA compliance tool.
Experience/Education of the Purchasing Manager:
- High School Diploma required. A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred. Previous healthcare and/or Not-For-Profit experience a plus.
- Experience with or the ability to rapidly learn and navigate multiple systems including purchasing and contract management systems.
- Prior experience in a purchasing role with an understanding of the procurement processes, strategies, and best practices and proven experience in driving down cost of goods/supplies.
- Excellent communication with very strong negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills required for analyzing data, identifying trends, and making informed purchasing decisions.
- Previous experience working with Microsoft Office suite is preferred.
- Ability to travel throughout the service area as needed.

Benefits and Compensation:
Salary compensation: Starting at $75,000 per year. Commensurate with experience and credentials
Eligible for full benefits effective the first of the month following 30 days from your hire date
Paid Time Off accrues immediately but cannot be used until after 90 full days of employment
