NP or PA for Movement Disorders, 100% outpatient, in Reno/Tahoe at Renown Health – Reno, Nevada

Renown Health and University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) are recruiting a Board Eligible/Board Certified Neurology Advanced Practice Practitioner to help evaluate, consult, and treat patients with Movement Disorders in the outpatient clinic.

The APP will work closely with the Movement Disorder Neurology physicians to accurately diagnose movement disorders and develop comprehensive management plans and incorporate various therapeutic options including medications, injections, and deep brain stimulation. Previous experience working in Neurology and/or with Movement Disorder patients is preferred.

Renown's providers foster the teaching of residents and medical students from The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Providers also have access to an established Research Department which provides support to coordinate clinical trials or take the opportunity to conduct research on the university campus.

Renown Regional houses The Institute of Neurosciences and is a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and NAEC Level III accredited Epilepsy Center
