About
The mission of CPLC's Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) is to promote the health, well-being, and stability of refugees, unaccompanied alien children, and other eligible individuals and families, through culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based services. Salary Range - $78,000 to $80,000

Travel

  • 20 percent remote with about 80 percent travel and working from the office 1 day a week.
  • Full-time, Monday-Friday with flexibility for weekends, overnights if needed to support staff.

How will you make an impact?
As the HSPRS Regional Supervisor, you will lead a regional team of case workers dedicated to conducting home studies and providing post-release services to unaccompanied children and their sponsors. Your leadership will ensure that services are delivered with empathy, excellence, and compliance, empowering your team to support families through each step of their journey.

Supervise PRS Caseworkers and Home Study Caseworkers.

Oversee assessments, case reviews, and quality assurance of home studies and service plans.

Support staff development through training, coaching, and performance feedback.

Ensure timely, thorough documentation and adherence to program standards.

Collaborate across departments and with community partners to connect families to critical resources.

Respond to crisis on short-notice, travel to visit offices and support your team.


You are a trauma-informed, compassionate leader who is passionate about supporting immigrant populations.

    A strategic leader and advocate. You actively work to build trust and engagement on your team. You know how to drive individual and team impact. Building strong partnerships while championing community advocacy and cross-cultural communication is your strength.
  • A child welfare and case management expert. You bring hands-on experience with home studies, post-release services, and writing thorough assessment reports. You understand family preservation, kinship care and child welfare. You are knowledgeable about local social services.

  • Adaptable and resilient under pressure. You thrive in dynamic environments, balancing multiple priorities, delegating, managing crises, and maintaining composure while guiding your team through complex challenges.

  • Ready to travel when needed. You’re comfortable with short-notice travel, occasional nights or weekends, to support your team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must meet one of the following:
    • MSW degree or an equivalent degree in behavioral sciences or a social service field and 3 years of progressive experience in the fields listed above 
    • or a bachelor's degree in one of the aforementioned fields, plus 5 years of relevant employment experience
  • Experience conducting homes studies and writing thorough assessment reports
  • Bilingual and bicultural: English and Spanish
  • Available to travel as necessary
