About This Position

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? As a Senior Platform Engineer, you'll be a key player in designing and implementing cutting-edge production support activities and projects. You'll work with technologies like Virtualization, Kubernetes, Active Directory, and Storage to build robust, secure, and scalable systems. What You’ll Do:

  • Platform Engineering and Automation:
    • Design, implement, and support infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
    • Administer, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads and microservices.
    • Build and operate CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) for seamless application deployment and infrastructure delivery.
    • Ensure high standards of observability with robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
  • System Administration and Infrastructure Support:
    • Provide lifecycle support and maintenance for Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux Server (RHEL/Ubuntu/More) environments.
    • Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity federation technologies.
    • Support core infrastructure including virtualization, cloud platforms, enterprise storage, and backup solutions.
    • Oversee deployment and maintenance of Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure.
    • Implement patching strategies, hardening procedures, vulnerability scanning, and antivirus controls to ensure platform security.
    • Enforce configuration management and compliance policies.
    • Participate in Business Continuity Planning (BCP), BCP Testing, and Audit readiness programs.
  • Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Serve as a technical lead for infrastructure and platform initiatives, collaborating with Engineering, DevOps, Network, Security, and Compliance teams.
    • Develop and document platform standards, engineering procedures, and knowledgebase materials.
    • Mentor and support less-experienced team members by sharing best practices and conducting technical reviews.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft-based infrastructure systems in an enterprise setting.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and platform automation tools.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent education experience.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and other IaC tools.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Experience with VMware, Nutanix, and Public Cloud Providers.
  • Knowledge of enterprise storage systems and backup solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy Management.
  • Familiarity with enterprise networking concepts including firewall rules, VLANs, routing, and DNS.

Preferred Skills:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Kubernetes Administrator, Terraform Associate, Microsoft Certified, AWS/Azure/GCP Certifications) are highly desirable.

Working Environment:

  • Schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • 10% Travel Required
