Job Overview
Materials Handler are responsible for managing supply chain activities in the assigned area under the direction of the supply chain management. Performs procurement activities for assigned areas in a cost-effective manner using current inventory management processes and procedures. Communicates product concerns to supply chain management and seeks input or approval from the Clinical Resource Directors - CRD- for all newly requested items prior to placing an order. Materials handler should be in appropriate business attire prior to the start of the scheduled shift. Consistently anticipates customer needs and expectations; responds to supply inquiries in a timely and effective manner.
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required,
- Supply Chain experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Risk of injury from equipment used in moving a product
- Ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 lbs,
- All departments, patients, family, visitors, nursing, clinical and medical staff,
- Practices and adheres to all department and organizational policies, procedures, initiatives, and training,
- Conducts supply chain activities for assigned areas,
- Responsible for the research, mitigation, and resolution of customer concerns and escalation when needed,
- Performs delegated tasks and special projects as assigned
- Acting as a subject-matter expert in assigned areas
- Attends daily meetings and huddles
- Has working knowledge of all the equipment used in the supply chain department
- Responsible for identifying and reporting safety concerns, medical errors, device malfunction, and facility damage ie
- Walls, ceiling tiles, etc
- Perform all other duties as assigned

- Days 6am-2:30pm
- Mon-Fri with Weekend rotation/Holiday
