Mechanic I (Fabricator & Welding Focus) in Mesa, Arizona at Rock Pros USA

Rock Pros USA is seeking an experienced Fabricator to cut, weld, and fabricate metal components critical to quarry operations. This role focuses on creating and repairing safety guards, chutes, receiving hoppers, conveyors, crushing equipment, storage racks, bed liners, equipment parts, and loader buckets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently cut, weld, and fabricate components using plasma cutters, air arc equipment, and other tools.
• Fabricate and repair operational and structural items for quarry equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Provide on-site solutions to maintain or improve equipment reliability.
• Collaborate with Safety, Asset, and Mechanical teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Mentor less experienced fabricators and maintain a safe, organized work environment.

Job Requirements

• Proven welding and metal fabrication experience, ideally in heavy equipment or quarry operations.
• Skilled with plasma cutters, air arc, and other welding tools.
• Ability to fabricate and repair safety guards, chutes, conveyors, crushers, racks, bed liners, and loader buckets.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of safety procedures (lockout/tagout, PPE) and commitment to safe work practices.
