Our fully-owned for-profit subsidiary La Causa Development in Arizona and in Nevada provides professional expertise in full service real estate development from design to implementation. La Causa Development, along with CPLC subsidiaries Tiempo Inc., La Causa Construction LLC, and La Causa Realty, LLC, provides comprehensive professional expertise in design and construction, in addition to construction management, property management, and sale of completed projects, to include: retail, medical, and mixed-use development, as well as residential multi-family and single family homes.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?You will serve as a key driver of compliance excellence, ensuring that affordable housing programs—particularly HUD Section 8 and LIHTC—are managed with accuracy, integrity, and efficiency. You will oversee compliance-related processes, monitor risks, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards while supporting operational goals.
You will act as the go-to expert for compliance matters, guiding internal teams and property managers while maintaining accurate records in Yardi. Your role will include reviewing business proposals, assessing risks, coordinating audits, and implementing policies that strengthen compliance infrastructure.
You will also play a vital role in developing procedures, delivering training, and ensuring teams are equipped with the tools and knowledge needed to remain compliant. By collaborating across departments and stepping in to support leadership when needed, you will help ensure organizational success and continuity.

You’re someone who can balance structure with adaptability—able to respond to changing regulations and organizational needs while maintaining a high standard of work. You’re comfortable working independently but also enjoy collaborating to improve systems and processes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIESEducation / Background:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in compliance, housing programs, or related field
