Housekeeper at Williamsburg Winery – Williamsburg, Virginia

We are looking for dedicated housekeepers who will keep our hotel, The Wedmore Place, looking its absolute best! You will work with a team of cleaning professionals to ensure that guests have a great home-away-from-home experience. Candidates with prior cleaning experience are preferred, but we are willing to train hardworking people who are team players. Come be a part of a unique experience and work at a beautiful European-style boutique hotel located on over 300 acres of vineyards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy up hotel rooms, hallways, elevators, lobby and common areas.
• Dust and polish various surfaces and furniture.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Empty trash bins.
• Change linens and towels; replace toiletries.
• Provide laundry services to guests.
• Restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Report any issues that require maintenance to management.
• Anticipate guests needs and responds promptly while maintaining positive guest relations.
• Additional tasks may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of cleaning practices and supplies.
• Physically able to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
