About This Position
We are a 24-hour residential group home dedicated to supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Our mission is to provide high-quality, person-centered care in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment.
We are urgently seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a part-time basis. The RN will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of individuals we serve by conducting assessments, developing care plans, and overseeing the delegation of complex nursing tasks to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
Pay: $50 - $55 (Hourly)
Job Type and Schedule: Part-Time Position with Flexible Scheduling
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete initial nursing assessments for individuals with G-Tube/GJ Tubes and Tracheal Tube needs.
- Develop individualized Nursing Care Plans in accordance with the individual needs and in compliance with the Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs).
- Prepare and maintain all required delegation paperwork for complex nursing tasks.
- Delegate, re-delegate, and provide oversight and training to DSPs who provide care to the supported individuals.
- Ensure compliance with all state and organizational policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote optimal health outcomes for each individual.
Qualifications:
- Current Oregon RN License in Good Standing (Required)
- Approved Background Clearance Application through the State Background Check Unit (Requested During the Hiring Process, and Every 2 Years Thereafter)
- Valid Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation (Required)
- Basic Computer Skills for Documentation and Electronic Recordkeeping (Required)
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification (Preferred)
- Experience with G-Tube/ GJ Tube and Tracheal Tube Care (Preferred)
- Strong Understanding of the Oregon Administrative Rules
- Excellent Communication, Organizational, and Problem-Solving Skills
