Job Description

Sales Operations- CRM Lead- 6-month interim

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Operations – CRM Lead (6-Month Interim) based in Spain.

We are looking for an experienced CRM leader to drive the strategy, development, and adoption of CRM capabilities across a European commercial organization. In this six-month interim role, you will act as the key link between Sales, IT, Business Data, and external technology partners. You will take ownership of the CRM roadmap, ensuring that systems, processes, and data support business growth and stronger customer engagement. Your focus will include product ownership, process optimization, data governance, reporting, and user adoption rather than routine system administration. You will help standardize commercial processes, improve pipeline visibility, and turn CRM data into actionable business insights. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on commercial performance and operational efficiency across multiple European markets.

Accountabilities

You will lead the evolution of CRM as a strategic commercial capability, aligning technology, processes, and user needs with broader business objectives. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • CRM strategy and roadmap: Define and own the European CRM strategy, governance framework, and development roadmap in alignment with commercial priorities.

  • Business ownership: Act as the primary commercial business owner for CRM and related sales technologies, ensuring that solutions address operational needs and business goals.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with IT, Business Data teams, developers, and external vendors to deliver system enhancements, integrations, and new capabilities.

  • User adoption and change management: Drive CRM adoption through training, user enablement, communication, and structured change management initiatives.

  • Sales process optimization: Design and improve commercial workflows covering lead management, opportunities, sales pipelines, and the customer lifecycle.

  • Data quality and governance: Establish and maintain CRM data quality standards, governance processes, and compliance requirements.

  • Reporting and analytics: Develop dashboards, reports, and actionable insights that improve pipeline visibility and support commercial decision-making.

  • Stakeholder management: Build strong relationships across commercial teams and prioritize enhancement requests according to business value and impact.

  • Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to increase automation, standardize processes, and improve CRM efficiency across European markets.

Requirements

The ideal candidate combines strong CRM expertise with commercial understanding, analytical capabilities, and proven change management experience. You should be comfortable taking ownership of CRM strategy while working hands-on with systems, data, and cross-functional stakeholders. Key requirements include:

  • Significant experience in CRM management, product ownership, CRM implementation, or commercial systems leadership.

  • Hands-on experience with CRM configuration, workflows, reporting, and data management in a B2B environment.

  • Strong understanding of sales operations, pipeline management, and end-to-end commercial processes.

  • Experience collaborating with IT teams, developers, data specialists, and third-party technology providers.

  • Proven ability to drive CRM adoption through training, user engagement, and process transformation.

  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Fluency in English.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

  • Experience with HubSpot or other enterprise CRM platforms.

  • Familiarity with reporting, analytics, and automation tools such as Power BI, Looker Studio, and BigQuery.

  • Experience supporting multi-country European commercial organizations.

  • Understanding of CRM data governance, privacy, and information security requirements.

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial, or complex B2B environments.

  • Additional European language skills.

Benefits

  • Flexible remote work: Fully remote working arrangement.

  • Strategic responsibility: Take ownership of CRM strategy and influence commercial operations across multiple European markets.

  • High-impact assignment: Deliver measurable improvements in CRM adoption, data quality, pipeline visibility, and operational efficiency.

  • Cross-functional exposure: Collaborate with commercial leadership, IT, data teams, and external technology partners.

  • Contract duration: Six-month temporary assignment.

  • Location: The original role is advertised as fully remote, with Palau, Spain listed as its location.
