Machine Operator 3rd Shift

Location: Mills River, NC
Pay: $18.75/hr.
Shift: 7:00 PM7:00 AM
Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule

Position Overview

Were hiring dependable, detail-oriented Machine Operators to tend fiber processing equipment in a manufacturing environment. This hands-on position involves feeding materials, cleaning equipment, making minor adjustments, and performing basic testing to help maintain consistent production and product quality. Mechanical experience is preferred but not required. Training may be available.

Responsibilities

• Feed materials into fiber processing machines.

• Clean and maintain equipment during operation.

• Make minor machine adjustments as needed.

• Perform baseline testing and monitor machine performance.

• Use material-handling equipment as required.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Follow established production and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Dependable with strong attention to detail.

• Mechanical experience preferred but not required.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule.

• Ability to stand for the duration of a 12-hour shift.

• Ability to bend and twist approximately 2030 times per day while carrying loads up to 20 lbs.

• Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment.

• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position.
