Position Summary:

The team lead is responsible for performing sanitation duties while leading an overnight sanitation crew in a food distribution center, including cooler and freezer areas.

Responsibilities:

• Perform slot cleaning throughout warehouse areas
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and sanitize floors
• Dust racks, shelving, beams, and equipment
• Clean cooler and freezer storage areas
• Remove trash, cardboard, and debris
• Clean offices, break rooms, and common areas as assigned
• Assign and monitor daily tasks
• Train and assist team members
• Conduct quality inspections
• Complete cleaning logs and reports
• Follow OSHA, GMP, food safety, and company policies

Qualifications:

• Previous leadership experience is preferred
• Warehouse or sanitation experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working in cooler and freezer environments
• Dependable and detail-oriented
