• Participate in discovery activities, including technical research, user-focused analysis, and solution planning to support digital transformation initiatives.
• Lead technical discovery efforts by producing architecture diagrams, documentation, technical specifications, and implementation recommendations.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full stack applications using modern development frameworks and industry best practices.
• Collaborate closely with UX designers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive, high-quality digital experiences.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve functional and non-functional issues while continuously improving code quality, maintainability, and application performance.
• Support solution deployments, product launches, and ongoing platform enhancements while contributing reusable components and shared technical capabilities.
• Mentor team members through documentation, knowledge sharing, onboarding support, and continuous improvement of development standards and engineering practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer delivering complex software solutions within Agile development environments.
• Strong experience using Git and collaborative source control workflows.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with modern application frameworks, automated unit and integration testing, and relational and non-relational database technologies.
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and modern software engineering best practices.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems, working with CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with UX, service design, or human-centered design teams is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools or agentic development workflows is an advantage.
• Ability to obtain required security clearance and successfully complete applicable background screening requirements.

• Competitive contract compensation:
  • Salaried rate: CAD $80–$90 per hour
  • Incorporated business rate: CAD $95–$105 per hour
• Initial 12-month contract with extension potential up to an additional 24 months.
