About the role
The Finance & Accounting Analyst provides hands-on support to the Financial Controller and CFO across day-to-day finance operations — from month-end close and reporting through to budgeting and forecasting. This role assists with financial analysis and administrative finance tasks under the direction of the FC, with the opportunity to develop broader finance skills over time.
We are a small Finance Team and operate a flat working structure. You will have daily access to the FC and CFO with plenty of opportunities to work and liaise across functional teams in our business.

- Support month-end close processes, including journal preparation, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis under FC guidance
- Support for day-to-day queries from the offshore team and payroll officer
- Review offshore team’s bookkeeping and processing work for accuracy, flagging issues to the FC where judgement calls are required
- Help maintain and improve documentation of finance procedures so routine tasks are less dependent on the FC
- Assist with the annual budgeting process, including data consolidation and template preparation
- Support rolling forecasts and scenario modelling as directed by the FC
- Help track actuals against budget and flag variances for FC review
- Assist with billing and subscription management

- Demonstrated ability to explore and implement AI-enabled productivity opportunities
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and month-end processes (journals, reconciliations, accruals)

- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior finance team members
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Successful outcomes are never achieved alone. You need to work well with others and be accountable for your work. We also expect you to communicate often, be honest and take initiative when appropriate. You will be working openly using modern collaborative platforms.
