- Pay Range is $16 to $17/hr. starting

SUMMARY
Assists hotel sales department with various administrative and sales duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Answers hotel phones, greets visitors and provides information as requested for the sales office.
- Distributes incoming mail and processes outgoing correspondence including shipments through UPS, Fed Ex, etc.
- Maintains hotel sales office files and ensures that sales office is kept neat and clean and that business center is fully stocked.
- Prepares hotel sales reports as directed and updates reader boards.
- Maintains inventory of office supplies and forms and creates door signs for meetings.
- Finalizes Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and rooming lists for functions.
- Conducts property tours and handles transportation requests.
- Meets and/or exceeds individual quantitative revenue and production goals set forth by the General Manager and/or Director of Operations.
- Makes up sales kits and client gifts and sends out thank you letters.
- Follows up on payment issues /adjustments with property accountant and corporate office as necessary.
KHC POLICIES: Responsible for following all KHC policies and procedures as set forth in the KHC handbook and property specific guidelines/standards. These policies include dress code, safety and performance standards. Employees must also maintain a professional image and report to work as scheduled.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
