Content Moderation Specialist (PH)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Content Moderation Specialist (PH) based in the United States.

This role is focused on ensuring a safe, compliant, and trustworthy online environment by reviewing and evaluating user-generated content against established platform policies. You will play a key part in maintaining community standards by identifying potentially harmful, inappropriate, or non-compliant material and making consistent, fair moderation decisions. The position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced digital environment. You will also be responsible for escalating complex or sensitive cases to senior teams when needed while maintaining high levels of accuracy and professionalism. The environment is structured yet dynamic, with clear guidelines, performance targets, and a strong focus on quality and consistency. This is an opportunity to contribute directly to platform safety at a global scale while working fully remotely.

Accountabilities:
  • Review and moderate user-generated content to ensure compliance with platform policies, safety standards, and community guidelines.
  • Identify, assess, and report content that violates rules, including harmful, misleading, or inappropriate material.
  • Apply moderation guidelines consistently to ensure fair, accurate, and objective decision-making across all cases.
  • Meet defined accuracy and productivity targets while maintaining high-quality review standards.
  • Escalate complex, ambiguous, or sensitive cases to senior moderators or policy teams when required.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling user data and sensitive content.
  • Follow established workflows and moderation tools to ensure operational consistency and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in trust and safety, compliance, regulatory review, or related moderation environments preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately assess content that may include sensitive, harmful, or misleading material.
  • Basic understanding of content moderation workflows, tools, and community guidelines.
  • Awareness of cultural nuances and their impact on interpreting online content across global audiences.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly document decisions.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, structured, and performance-driven environment.
  • Comfortable working with content that may include sensitive or explicit themes in line with platform policies.
