Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and hands-on individual to support a variety of production, light maintenance, and building and grounds responsibilities. This role includes assisting with production tasks such as mixing, packaging, labeling, equipment setup, paperwork review, and quality checks, while also helping with basic repairs, preventative maintenance, lawn care, and general facility upkeep.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform production operator duties, including reading and interpreting mix sheets, verifying raw materials, mixing product, packaging, labeling, and completing finished goods.
- Set up new jobs, close out finished orders, review production paperwork, and start up or shut down equipment as needed.
- Inspect parts, materials, and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform general building and grounds maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, repairs, and upkeep of facility structures.
- Maintain company grounds, including lawn mowing, trimming, seasonal cleanup, and general outdoor maintenance as needed.
- Prioritize and complete basic repairs, reactive maintenance, and planned preventative maintenance for buildings, grounds, machines, and equipment, while maintaining required documentation and reporting any related issues to leadership.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to safety and environmental protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Prior maintenance experience required, including general building, equipment, or facility maintenance.
- Ability to safely use manual tools, power tools, and basic production equipment.
- Experience with carpentry, basic electrical, plumbing, machine repair, or grounds maintenance preferred.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, mix sheets, production paperwork, repair manuals, and related documentation.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect parts, materials, and finished goods for quality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to report equipment, quality, facility, or grounds-related issues to leadership.
- Ability to work independently and shift between production, maintenance, and grounds responsibilities as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience required.
- Previous experience in production, construction, groundskeeping, or another hands-on role preferred.
- Ability to perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance on buildings, grounds, machines, and equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment or facility issues and assist with removing or replacing defective parts as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Professional attitude, dependability, and willingness to support a variety of job duties.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, reach overhead, and move between production, maintenance, and outdoor work areas throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Ability to perform physically active work, including use of ladders, tools, equipment, and outdoor maintenance equipment.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions.
- Ability to conduct inspections, perform basic repairs, and safely carry tools, materials, and equipment as needed.
