Sales Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Manager based in Australia.

Lead a high-performing sales team and shape the growth of an established-home resale business across Queensland’s lifestyle communities.
You’ll oversee a team of 9–10 sales professionals, creating clarity, building capability, and driving sustainable commercial performance.
The role combines people leadership, sales strategy, customer engagement, and strong commercial decision-making.
You’ll build trusted relationships with homeowners while developing a healthy listings pipeline and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
Working across office, community, and remote environments, you’ll stay closely connected to your team and the communities you support.
With regular travel between the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast, you’ll have a visible role in the customer experience and day-to-day sales operation.

Accountabilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of 9–10 sales professionals, setting clear expectations and supporting individual and team performance.
  • Drive sales growth and commercial outcomes across the Queensland established-home resales business, ensuring targets and key performance measures are consistently achieved.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with homeowners, supporting them through important property and lifestyle transitions.
  • Develop a sustainable listings pipeline by identifying opportunities, strengthening owner relationships, and improving sales activity and conversion.
  • Use sales data, market insights, and financial drivers to identify opportunities, address performance gaps, and support sound commercial decisions.
  • Partner closely with sales, community operations, and other stakeholders to strengthen sales discipline, operational effectiveness, and community engagement.
  • Champion customer excellence by ensuring homeowners, buyers, and community stakeholders receive consistent, professional, and positive experiences.
  • Travel regularly between communities across the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast to support the team, engage with homeowners, and identify opportunities.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, resilience, and high performance across the sales function.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and managing the performance of a sales team, with a strong track record of achieving or exceeding commercial targets.
  • Experience sourcing property listings, building trusted relationships with owners, and developing a sustainable sales pipeline within established residential property sales or a related environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret sales data, market conditions, and financial drivers to make informed decisions and improve performance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across sales, operations, community teams, homeowners, and customers.
  • A customer-focused and commercially driven approach, combining strong sales discipline with genuine care for people and communities.
  • Resilient, accountable, and improvement-oriented, with the ability to remain constructive during challenging market conditions and maintain focus on long-term performance.
  • Strong people leadership skills, including the ability to create clarity, develop talent, motivate teams, and bring out the best in individuals.
  • Current real estate licence and valid driver’s licence, with the ability to travel regularly between communities across the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or holder of an Open Work Visa with more than 12 months of validity remaining from the anticipated start date.
