Title
Clinic Radiology Supervisor
Summary
Creates a positive and collaborative work environment while supervising the daily activities, patient flow, operations, clinical procedures, and performance of Clinic Radiology Technologists. Assists with interviewing, scheduling, conducting performance reviews and performance management, and directing daily work activities. Ensures quality, safety, and regulatory compliance of the clinical Imaging systems at all Clinic locations. Collaborates with Clinic leadership to effectively carry out communication, coordination and participate in planning, delivery, and support of Radiology Services in the Clinic setting. Provides exceptional patient care and performs all duties of the clinic staff radiologic technologist.
Compensation
We are committed to providing wage ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on experience, education and internal equity considerations. The hourly wage range for this position is $42.70–$60.28. This range reflects the base rate for this position.
Key Accountabilities
  • Responsible for radiology staff interview/selection, annual performance evaluations, and for performance management of staff.
  • Demonstrates leadership and serves as a role model for staff, using time and resources effectively, and demonstrates a positive attitude.
  • Orients, mentors, and assures proper training and complete competency testing of new and existing employees to ensure a high level of competency among team members.
  • Assists Director in conducting new radiology equipment evaluations, PACS and RIS system evaluations, and provides purchase recommendations. Supports EHR improvement initiatives including system implementation, testing, and training for team members.
  • Collaborates with Imaging Quality and Safety Coordinator for safety and quality assurance testing as required by regulatory agencies and/or manufacturer’s recommendations, proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment, coordination of equipment repair. Ensures compliance with regulatory bodies including CMS, MDH, ACR, and other requirements for all clinic x-ray locations.
  • Responsible for personal and professional development to ensure current knowledge required for the position, is the source of expertise for radiology and supports Clinic Laboratory duties.
  • Identifies opportunities for and participates in process and quality improvement initiatives and supports new technology and department/organizational initiatives. Partners with Clinic Leadership to support Radiology services and staff in all clinic locations.
  • Coordinates and plans work assignments with the technologists and optimizes staff productivity.
  • Ensures continuity of care and establishes standard of practice and patient care. Promote staff growth, development, and employee engagement in a supportive learning environment
  • Meets all role expectations of the clinic staff radiologic technologist.
Required Qualifications
  • ARRT (R) - ARRT registration in Radiography and 3 years' experience as a radiology technologist.
  • Must be enrolled in NH+C RQI program for BLS certification and complete the requirements within 90 days of enrollment. Must remain current (complete quarterly assignments prior to the end of each calendar quarter).
  • Initial Crisis Prevention Certification (CPI) within six months.
  • Workplace Violence education in New Employee Orientation and annually thereafter
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English proficiently to ensure safe and effective communication in a healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ARRT (R) - ARRT registration in Radiography and minimum five years’ experience as a radiology technologist
  • Bachelor’s degree and previous supervisory experience.
Schedule
  • 64 hours per two-week pay period (0.8 FTE)
  • 4 days per week, routinely
  • Typical shift: 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
  • Hours may vary to meet coverage needs across all clinic sites
