Sales Associate in Skyforest, California at SPSV ENTERTAINMENT LLC

A SkyPark Sales Associates purpose is to create a shopping experience that will make every quest feel welcome when visiting the park. This position will require frequent interaction with others, so good communication skills are essential. Basic math skills are needed, as the job will require money handling. Sales Associates must be able to multitask, work well independently and with others, and stay informed on the latest trends influencing sales. They will report to the Retail Manager.

This position requires availability on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong customer service skills at all times.
• Determine customer needs based on personal features and guest preferences.
• Demonstrate knowledge of store products and services to build sales.
• Maintain a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm reflecting SkyPark’s mission and values.
• Ability to demonstrate strong guest-focused engagement on and off the sales floor.
• Promote and maintain a safe working and shopping environment.
• Contribute to a high energy, fast-paced environment that provides guests with an entertaining, fun and dynamic experience.
• Operates point-of-sale/cash registers, manages financial transactions and balances drawers at the end of their shift.
• Maintain an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor and park.
• Introduce promotions and opportunities to guests.
• Cross-sell products to maximize sales.
• Operate point-of-sale cash registers and cash handling procedures.
• Assists with inventory in all Retail areas.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, reliable, and punctual.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on the needs of the store and the park.
• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic math functions such as addition, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, weekends, and holidays, based on department and company needs.
• A professional appearance.
• Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• The ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
