The Location: Taconic Biosciences is seeking a Team Coordinator Animal Production to support our Seattle, Washington site.

The Pay Range: $27/hr - $30/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on experience, education, and skills related directly to the role.

The Schedule: Monday-Friday

The Role:

The Team Coordinator Animal Production helps coordinate work of Animal Care Technicians. In this role you will train and motivate staff, ensure that all animals receive husbandry consistent with SOPs.

• Assist supervisory staff in training new employees. 
• Back up animal care technicians as required. 
• Coordinate and order supplies. 
• Enter information into databases. 
• Inform Supervisor or Manager of problems. 
• Audit work of Animal Care Technicians, including line audits, SOP compliance, and recordkeeping and packing accuracy. 
• Ensure that production goals are met, initiate changes if necessary. 
• Provide input to supervisor on performance of Animal Care Technicians. 
• Create documents, including COPC and E-Pack. 
• Hold daily huddles with Barrier Leaders. 
• Promote a positive work environment.

Education/requirements:

• Associate degree (A.A) from a two-year college or technical school, or technical/managerial experience at an equivalent level
• AALAS certifications, LVT/CVT preferred
• May require supervisory experience
• 2-5 years of relevant experience and/or training
