Weekend Caregiver in Austin, Texas at Amada Senior Care

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Saturdays and Sundays floater
• Assist clients with ADLs including incontinence and personal care needs
• Assist bedbound clients with mobility, transfers, and repositioning
• Provide appropriate redirection and support to clients with dementia and Alzheimer's disease
• Perform safe lifting and transferring techniques
• Safely operate and assist clients with mobility equipment including Hoyer lifts, gait belts, walkers, and wheelchairs
• Travel to client locations within the service area as needed

• Valid driver's license
• Current auto mobile insurance
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client location
• Demonstrated ability to safely lift and transfer clients
• Experience using mobility devices: Hoyer lift, gait belts, walkers, and wheelchairs
• Experience assisting with repositioning and redirection
• Experience caring for clients with dementia and Alzheimer's disease
• Experience assisting clients with incontinence and personal care needs
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional approach to caregiving
