POSITION SUMMARY

The Ministry Integration Project Manager at Cherry Hills Community Church partners with the Executive Pastor of Ministry by providing project management, coordination, and operational support of church-wide initiatives, strategic projects, and shared ministry efforts. This role is responsible for coordinating projects from planning through execution by managing timelines, communication, action items, and collaboration across participating departments and ministry teams. Through effective project management and operational coordination, this role helps strengthen ministry collaboration, support engagement pathways, and advance the Executive Pastor of Ministry's priorities while creating an organized ministry environment that enables people to connect, belong, and grow in their faith.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate church-wide planning and project management efforts to ensure alignment of priorities, communication, timelines, and execution across departments and ministry teams.
  • Establish project priorities, monitor progress, communicate project status, and recommend solutions to support timely execution of Executive Pastor of ministry initiatives and church-wide ministry projects.
  • Facilitate project accountability by tracking commitments, following up on action items, identifying barriers, and ensuring next steps are completed.
  • Facilitate alignment among ministry leaders and departments to support unified execution of church-wide priorities and initiatives by establishing clear project timelines, responsibilities, and communication plans.
  • Support the Executive Pastor of Ministry by advancing strategic initiatives, managing special projects, coordinating church-wide initiatives, and ensuring consistent follow-through on key objectives.
  • Coordinate the planning, implementation, and evaluation of church-wide events and seasonal initiatives, including Christmas, Easter, and other church gatherings by developing project plans, facilitating collaboration among departments and ministry teams, and ensuring timely execution.
  • Provide project management and operational support for designated engagement pathways such as baptism, membership, and Starting Point by supporting project coordination, operational planning, communication, execution, and follow-up in partnership with and under the direction of the responsible ministry leader.
  • Provide relational, logistical, administrative, and coordination support within baptism, membership, Starting Point, and other engagement environments by assisting with participant communication, hospitality, event preparation, follow-up, coordination, and connection efforts, and other responsibilities as assigned by the responsible ministry leader.
  • Coordinate ministry calendars, project timelines, communication plans, and operational details for shared initiatives and strategic priorities.
  • Develop and improve systems, workflows, and ministry processes that enhance organizational effectiveness, guest experience, and ministry execution.
  • Lead planning meetings, project reviews, and collaborative discussions that drive accountability, clarity, and progress.
  • Coordinate operational support for assigned strategic partnerships, external ministry relationships, including coordination between CHCC, Valor, and CHCS, and other assigned ministry partners, while ensuring effective communication and operational coordination.
  • Support assigned church-wide initiatives, congregational events, and executive pastor of ministry during weekend services, and high-capacity ministry seasons as needed.
  • Coordinate Executive Pastor of Ministry’s meetings, action items, and follow-up to support the timely execution of department priorities

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • No direct supervisory responsibility.
  • Provides project leadership for assigned church-wide initiatives by coordinating ministry leaders, staff, and volunteers to support successful execution.
  • Leads through influence, collaboration, and accountability rather than formal supervisory authority.

SPIRITUAL EXPECTATIONS

  • Participate in and occasionally lead prayer within ministry meetings, volunteer gatherings, engagement environments, and church-wide initiatives.
  • Provide prayer, encouragement, Christ-centered relational support as appropriate during ministry interactions.
  • Support the spiritual formation objectives of baptism, membership, Starting Point, and other engagement environments.
  • Occasionally facilitate or communicate spiritual content within designated ministry settings as assigned.
  • Affirm and support CHCC’s Statement of Faith and mission.
  • Pursue personal spiritual growth through regular time in Scripture, prayer, and engagement in the life of the church.
  • Reflect the Fruit of the Spirit in character, conduct, and relationships.

Requirements:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant ministry, nonprofit, organizational leadership, or project management experience.
  • Minimum of three years of experience leading ministry initiatives, organizational projects, events, or complex programs involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating teams and driving execution across departments or ministry areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects, facilitate collaboration, and drive execution across multiple teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance relational ministry with project management, operational coordination, and execution.
  • Experience leading volunteers, ministry participants, or organizational initiatives in collaborative environments.
  • Experience building relationships and facilitating connections with staff, volunteers and congregants.

Preferred

  • Five or more years of ministry operations, church operations, project management, or organizational leadership experience.
  • Experience leading church-wide events, congregational engagement initiatives, or multi-department ministry efforts.
  • Experience supporting, coordinating, or partnering with baptism, membership, Starting Point, or comparable discipleship and connection pathways.
  • Experience managing strategic partnerships, external relationships, or campus use operations.
  • Training or coursework in ministry leadership, organizational leadership, project management, or related disciplines.

QUALIFICATIONS and COMPETENCIES

  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and engage relationally with individuals at various stages of spiritual growth and church involvement.
  • Strong project management, organizational leadership, and execution skills.
  • Ability to facilitate collaboration among leaders while managing competing priorities and project timelines.
  • Ability to translate vision into executable plans, systems, processes, and outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to drive clarity, accountability, and unity across teams.
  • High emotional intelligence and relational maturity when navigating competing priorities, organizational dynamics, and ministry challenges.
  • Ability to anticipate challenges, identify solutions, and remain adaptable in changing environments.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining focus on broader ministry objectives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); able to utilize standard tools for documentation, communication, and task coordination.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with common office technologies, including email, printers/copiers, shared drives, and organizational software platforms; able to troubleshoot basic issues and learn new tools quickly.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and working under pressure.
  • Available for evenings, weekends, or holidays as required.
  • Must be located in commutable distance to Highlands Ranch, Colorado, United States
  • Must pass a CHCC background check.
