Position Summary:
The Clinical Intake Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the Clinical Review and Order Transcription department, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of provider orders and clinical documentation. This leader provides frontline support, coaches team members, drives quality and operational excellence, develops standardized processes, and collaborates across departments to improve patient access to infusion therapies
Key Responsibilities
· Lead daily Clinical Review and Order Transcription operations
· Supervise, coach, and develop staff through regular feedback and performance evaluations
· Monitor productivity, turnaround times, quality metrics, and staffing coverage.
· Develop and maintain SOPs, workflows, and training resources.
· Conduct monthly quality audits and implement corrective actions.
· Approve schedules and PTO while ensuring operational coverage.
· Partner with Intake, Nursing, Scheduling, and Leadership
· Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
· Support onboarding, cross-training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Strong leadership, communication, organization, clinical review and order transcription expertise, analytical thinking, emotional intelligence, Microsoft Office proficiency, EMR experience, and ability to make independent operational decisions.
Education/Licensure/Technical Requirements.
- High school Diploma or equivalent required
· Ability to meet U.S. employment and eligibility requirements
· Licensed Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
· Three years of experience in clinical review, order transcription, and infusion intake with biologic orders.
· Minimum one year of leadership experience in intake or clinical operations.
