We are currently recruiting a Buyer to join our team and contribute to key projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This role is part of a global team working towardcommon goals. We operate as one company, across all locations, with shared responsibility andclear accountability.
- Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation
- Assist with RFQ processes, quotation comparisons, and vendor evaluation
- Monitor deliveries, order status, and supplier queries
- Ensure purchasing compliance with internal procedures
- Assist with invoice reconciliation
- Support vendor onboarding and documentation
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, maintenance and corporate teams
- Support warehouse and inventory management, including stock control
- Assist with inventory setup where required
Education & Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (2-year BTech or relevant coursework preferred)
- Knowledge of procurement principles
- NQF-credited certification in procurement, supply chain, or commercial administration is a plus
Experience & Technical Skills:
- 2–4 years in procurement or administrative support
- Experience with ERP/purchasing software (SAP MM)
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Teams)
- Experience in a corporate, multinational environment
- Experience in metals, energy, chemical, EPC, or similar technical sectors
- Basic data entry and recordkeeping skills
