Aubrey Thrasher, LLC is a national collections and creditors' rights law firm that represents banks, non-bank lenders, credit unions, equipment finance companies and other financial institutions in the collection of commercial and consumer debt. Aubrey Thrasher's attorneys file litigation and post-judgment actions directly in nine (9) states and nationally through a network of law firms.

The firm seeks a full-time Legal Assistant for its growing California civil litigation practice in Del Mar, California. This in-person position will report to the Director of Litigation and collaborate with other legal assistants, attorneys, and staff in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The firm offers training and development opportunities for motivated team members looking to grow with a dynamic and expanding practice.

Responsibilities:

· Draft and file complaints, affidavits, motions, and other court filings in California Superior Courts

· Maintain client files and court documents via our case management system

· Assist with management of court calendars, deadlines, and hearing schedules

· Manage communications with clients, court staff, and local counsel

Qualifications:

· 1+ years’ experience with civil litigation in California Superior Courts

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

· Excellent written and verbal communication

Salary:

$31.00 to $35.00/hour depending on experience
