This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, operations, and advanced planning, supporting large-scale mobility operations across the AMER West region. You will act as a key connector between regional leadership, product teams, and central planning functions to ensure local operational realities are fully reflected in strategic decisions. The position requires strong analytical thinking to translate complex market dynamics into actionable insights and scalable plans. You will lead planning cycles that align supply, demand, and operational capacity across multiple markets. A core part of the role involves scenario modeling and “what-if” analysis to anticipate risks and optimize performance. You will also contribute to improving planning tools, forecasting methodologies, and cross-functional alignment. The environment is fast-paced, highly collaborative, and data-driven, with a strong emphasis on impact and execution excellence.
- Represent regional operations within cross-functional commercial and planning processes, ensuring local market dynamics are accurately reflected in strategic decisions
- Lead end-to-end planning cycles with stakeholders across operations, product, finance, and strategy to optimize performance across markets
- Build and maintain scenario models and forecasting frameworks to evaluate capacity, demand shifts, and operational constraints
- Translate complex operational signals such as seasonality, infrastructure limitations, and market variability into actionable business insights
- Drive continuous improvement of planning tools, models, and methodologies to enhance forecasting accuracy and decision-making
- Support executive-level business reviews by distilling regional performance into clear narratives and root-cause analysis
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Finance, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in business planning, demand and supply planning, financial planning, program management, or a similar analytical role
- Strong expertise in building, auditing, and navigating complex models in enterprise planning systems or advanced spreadsheets
- Ability to translate complex datasets and scenarios into clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations
- Experience working in highly matrixed environments, driving alignment across multiple stakeholders and functions
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to decision-making
- Preferred: MBA or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Finance, Economics, or Operations Research
- Preferred: experience with ride-hailing networks, fleet operations, SQL, or Anaplan-based planning environments
