This role is a senior architecture position focused on shaping and optimizing enterprise HR reporting and analytics within a global Workday environment. You will play a key role in designing scalable reporting solutions, enabling data-driven decision-making, and improving the overall HR technology ecosystem. The position involves close collaboration with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into actionable analytics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks. You will also contribute to governance, automation, and continuous improvement of reporting structures while ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and security. Operating in a fast-paced, global environment, you will influence strategic decisions by delivering high-quality insights and enabling advanced HR analytics capabilities. This is a highly impactful role for someone who enjoys combining technical depth with business partnership at enterprise scale.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced Workday reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytics using tools such as Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and BIRT.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical reporting solutions in collaboration with HR, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and enhance global HR analytics capabilities.
- Support Workday system upgrades, configuration changes, and ongoing optimization initiatives.
- Maintain and improve HR data governance, reporting standards, naming conventions, and security frameworks.
- Develop and execute reporting strategies aligned with business and compliance requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex data, reporting, and integration issues while ensuring system reliability and accuracy.
- Create documentation, SOPs, test scenarios, and training materials to support reporting adoption and best practices.
- Support global HR reporting needs, including acquisitions, integrations, and system enhancements.
- Train and guide end users on Workday reporting tools and capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, HR, Business, or related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Workday reporting, including advanced reporting, dashboards, calculated fields, and configuration.
- 5+ years of experience in data, reporting, and analytics roles in enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in Workday HCM, Report Writer, EIBs, and ideally BIRT/composite reporting.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, data governance principles, and reporting best practices.
- Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience managing reporting projects from requirements to delivery.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality awareness, and data accuracy discipline.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, global, cross-functional environments.
