This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Sales, Salesforce (HLS, FINS) based in the United States.
This is a high-impact, player-coach sales leadership role focused on driving strategic growth within regulated industries, particularly Healthcare & Life Sciences and Financial Services. You will shape and execute go-to-market strategies across complex enterprise and mid-market accounts, leveraging deep expertise in Salesforce ecosystems and AI-powered transformation solutions. The role blends strategic relationship management with hands-on deal execution, requiring constant engagement with executive stakeholders and partner networks. You will be responsible for building pipeline, accelerating revenue growth, and expanding market presence in highly competitive environments. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help position advanced solutions spanning AI agents, industry clouds, and customer experience platforms. This is a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment where leadership, influence, and execution directly shape business outcomes.
- Drive strategic sales growth across Healthcare & Life Sciences and Financial Services markets by building and executing scalable go-to-market strategies, expanding pipeline, and closing high-value enterprise deals while maintaining a strong player-coach leadership presence.
- Build and manage executive relationships across client organizations and the Salesforce ecosystem, engaging with senior stakeholders to position value, strengthen partnerships, and identify expansion opportunities across existing and new accounts.
- Lead sales planning, forecasting, and performance tracking using CRM tools, ensuring pipeline accuracy, disciplined deal execution, and consistent achievement of revenue targets.
- Recruit, coach, and develop high-performing Account Executive teams while directly supporting key strategic pursuits and mentoring team members through complex sales cycles.
- Collaborate with internal solution, delivery, marketing, and product teams to shape differentiated offerings, develop industry-specific messaging, and align solutions with client transformation goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and industry dynamics to refine sales strategy and strengthen differentiation in regulated industries.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of sales leadership experience and 5+ years in a direct sales or enterprise solution-selling role, ideally within the Salesforce ecosystem or a Salesforce consulting/partner environment.
- Strong expertise in regulated industries such as Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Financial Services, with proven success in complex enterprise sales cycles.
- Deep understanding of CRM platforms, especially Salesforce, and experience selling cloud, AI, or digital transformation solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and scale high-performing sales teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Exceptional communication, executive presence, and consultative selling skills with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking, pipeline management, forecasting discipline, and ability to translate market insights into actionable sales strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or equivalent experience in business, technology, or related fields preferred.
