Nurse Manager – Join Our Team!

Locations: Kuakini Admin (Kona)
Schedule: Monday–Saturday- between 7:00 AM – 6:00PM

Department: Nursing
FLSA Status: Exempt

Pay Range:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN): $94,218.37 – $127,471.91 annually
  • Associate Degree RN: $84,529.70 – $118,720.63 annually
Compensation is based on qualifications, relevant experience, skills, and demonstrated capabilities.

Hawai‘i Island Community Health Center (HICHC) is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team and help deliver exceptional patient-centered care to the communities we serve.

In this key leadership role, you will oversee clinical operations, supervise and mentor nursing staff, support quality improvement initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams to promote efficient, high-quality healthcare delivery. You will also maintain hands-on clinical involvement, provide direct patient care and supporting care coordination when needed.

What We're Looking For
  • Current Hawaii RN license and BLS certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred (Associate degree with equivalent experience considered)
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing supervisory experience (Charge Nurse experience accepted)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care, quality improvement, and service excellence
  • Community health or federally qualified health center experience preferred
