Scope and Purpose:
We are seeking a Junior International Policy Services Representative for our growing international team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service and operational support to international policyholders, agents, and internal departments by administering in-force policies and supporting day-to-day policy operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process servicing requests for in-force international insurance policies.
- Respond to agent and policyholder inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Process premium payments, withdrawals, and other policy transactions.
- Coordinate policy changes, reinstatements, and other administrative requests.
- Maintain accurate policy records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with testing of administrative systems, enhancements, and new functionality.
- Identify operational issues and recommend process improvements.
- Provide backup support for new business process improvements.
- Provide backup support for new business processing during peak workloads or staff absences.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve policy administration issues.
- Ensure adherence to Company procedures and service standards.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or in a related field. Bilingual required, Spanish or Portuguese preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have strong bilingual verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively.
- Must be dependable and flexible.
- Maintain a professional attitude in challenging situations.
- Ability to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision and errors.
- Must be able to prioritize and discern when items must be escalated.
- Have a knack for improving processes and procedures.
- Experience with life insurance or investment products is beneficial.
- Proficient technical skills using various programs and applications such as Microsoft Office, Teams, Webex, IBM AS400, AdminSeg, SharePoint, etc.
Travel Requirements:
This position may require light travel within a ten-mile radius from one office location to another as needed.
