Unit Secretary (US) - Emergency Department (ED)

• 1105 Central Express Way, Allen, TX 75013
Work hours:
• PRN - As Needed, Variable Shifts
• Weekend and Holiday Requirements

Here's What You Need
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• No experience required
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 90 days and maintained annually required
• Possess organization skills to function in a fast-paced work environment, positive interpersonal skills, and good verbal and written communication skills.
What You Will Do
• Perform all tasks to meet the needs of physicians, staff, patients, and other customers
• Interactions include consideration for patient population specific needs
• Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to changes in schedule and/or workload assignment necessary to meet changing needs of the individual patient or unit
• Acceptable use of interpersonal relationship skills and communication with patients, families, co-workers, physicians, all disciplines and other customers
• Serves as a patient advocate
