Join a modern IT environment and take ownership of secure, high-performance virtualization platforms. As a VMware and Hyper-V specialist, you'll optimize data center infrastructure while collaborating with expert teams and contributing to exciting projects with continuous learning opportunities.
This role is based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania with the possibility of working in a hybrid or remote setup.
- Design, operate, and optimize Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere/ESXi clusters.
- Plan and implement high-availability solutions and live migrations.
- Analyze and optimize the capacity and performance of CPU, memory, storage, and network resources.
- Perform maintenance, patching, and upgrades, and support infrastructure migrations and hardware refresh projects.
- Analyze and resolve hypervisor-level issues with a focus on long-term stability.
- Create and maintain documentation, standards, and runbooks.
Mandatory requirements:
- 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Hyper-V and Windows Server.
- Strong expertise in VMware vSphere/ESXi.
- A good understanding of data center architectures, including SAN, storage, networking, and backup concepts.
- Proficiency in PowerShell.
- A structured, analytical approach to work, with the ability to remain solution-oriented when troubleshooting complex issues.
- Fluency in English and German.
