The Senior Product Manager - Data Products will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of data-driven product initiatives, partnering with technical and business teams to create impactful customer solutions.
- Own the roadmap for data-powered product experiences, including benchmarks, longitudinal insights, cross-survey intelligence, and other innovative capabilities.
- Identify opportunities where large-scale data assets can create meaningful customer value and support business growth.
- Define product strategies that leverage data, AI, and machine learning to deliver differentiated experiences.
- Partner closely with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to scope, prioritize, and launch new features.
- Develop frameworks and measurement strategies to understand product impact, customer retention, and expansion opportunities.
- Translate complex data opportunities into clear product requirements, priorities, and execution plans.
- Help shape the long-term strategy for building sustainable competitive advantages through data products.
- Balance customer needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives when making product decisions.
- Champion customer-focused innovation by identifying emerging opportunities and improving how users interact with data-driven insights.
The ideal candidate is an experienced product leader with a strong background in data-intensive products, AI-powered solutions, and SaaS environments.
- 5+ years of product management experience, with significant experience building data-driven or AI-powered products.
- Proven ability to identify customer needs and translate complex data capabilities into valuable product experiences.
- Strong product intuition with the ability to distinguish between attractive ideas and solutions that deliver measurable customer value.
- Experience working in ambiguous, foundational product areas where strategy and roadmaps need to be defined.
- Strong collaboration skills with engineering, data science, machine learning, and other technical teams.
- Experience in SaaS environments where data is a core component of the product value proposition.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with experience using data and customer insights to guide product decisions.
- Strong ownership mentality, curiosity, and passion for solving complex customer problems.
- Competitive base salary range of CAD $133,450 to CAD $157,000 per year, depending on location, experience, skills, and qualifications.
