Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) play a vital role in helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live safe, independent, and fulfilling lives. As a DSP, you will build meaningful relationships with the individuals you support while helping them achieve personal goals, participate in their communities, and maintain the highest possible quality of life.

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with personal care, daily living activities, and household responsibilities as needed.
• Support individuals in community activities, recreational outings, employment opportunities, appointments, and other experiences that promote independence and inclusion.
• Promote individual choice, dignity, self-advocacy, and personal growth.
• Assist individuals with medication administration and health-related supports in accordance with agency policies, training requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Complete required documentation, service records, and other program-related reports accurately and timely.
• Follow individualized service plans, behavior support plans, and organizational policies.
• Maintain a safe, positive, respectful, and supportive living environment.
• Collaborate with team members, families, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to support individual success.

• Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and commitment to providing high-quality support.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet agency driving requirements preferred.
• Previous experience as a DSP, CNA, caregiver, behavioral health professional, healthcare worker, or human services professional is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and support individuals with diverse needs.
