General Help in Tyler, Texas at Regal Machine MFG

A General Help employee assists in any department where additional support is needed. This position reports to the appropriate manager each day to receive instructions, assigned tasks, and a designated work area. The employee will learn procedures and processes while training for a permanent position.

Duties and Responsibilities

Understand and follow all company policies.
Report to the appropriate manager daily for tasks, instructions, and work-area assignments.
Follow instructions and learn required procedures and processes.
Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Follow all prescribed safety regulations.
Assist other departments as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Windows or a similar operating system.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day.
Ability to frequently bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, twist, turn, grasp, and reach overhead or outward.
