We are seeking to place an Environmental Scientist to support Fence-to-Fence tasks at Patrick Space Force Base. This role will predominately support waste profiling requirements for Hazardous Waste and Hazardous Material management tasks.

TASKS INCLUDE:

• Organize and implement the Patrick Space Force Base Fence-To-Fence programs that are assigned to this position.

• Perform waste profiling in support of Hazardous Waste (HW) and Hazardous Material (HM) programs.

• Review Safety Data Sheets (SDS), manufacturer information, and analytical results to properly classify/profile waste for disposal.

• Perform data collection, organization, and presentation.

• Expertise using EESOH-MIS for tracking hazardous waste and hazardous materials, approving processes, data pulls, and ad-hoc reporting.

• Assist with the management of data.

• Review documents for technical adequacy and assist with technical manuals.

• Provide technical expertise to assigned tasks/projects.

• Conduct research, or other field work, as assigned.

• Attend, participate, organize, and/or facilitate meetings as requested by the base customer.

• Other duties as assigned by TO/Project Manager and/or base client.

• Drive on behalf of AGEISS business.

• Some travel may be required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in chemistry, environmental engineering, sciences, or other related area.

• 3 years of experience in compliance, restoration or other related support.

• Experience working on DoD environmental programs/projects.

• Professional environmental registration or certification a plus.

• Working knowledge of environmental compliance, remediation, regulations, and regulatory agencies.

• Individuals already possessing an adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) are preferred.

• Ability to successfully pass a federal agency background check is required.

• Working knowledge of Federal environmental statutes and State-specific regulations pertaining to HW and HM

• Possess a working knowledge of other Federal environmental statutes and State-specific regulations such as each State Environmental Protection Act and the State Administrative Code, local regulations and statutes, as well as AF and/or DoD environmental regulations and documentation.

• Strong oral and written communication skills and proficiency with MS Office applications (Word and Excel) is required.

• Valid Driver’s License required
