Responsible to verify, load, and unload product going in and out on trucks on a daily basis to ensure efficient, timely and accurate deliveries to the production plant.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support the Vision, Mission, and Values of the Organization.
Operate pallet jacks and/or forklifts within a warehouse
Unload and load trucks with multiple types of product
Reconcile inventories of inbound and outbound freight
Help maintain the interior condition of the warehouse and exterior parking lot
Shuttle loads between the warehouse and production plant with a tractor-trailer
Jockey trailers on the warehouse yard as needed
Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems issues.
Perform or schedule preventive and periodic maintenance of vehicles, including mechanical and physical inspections, road tests, fluid changes, lubricating components, brake service, tune -ups, component repair and replacement, air conditioning service and replacement, tire replacement and rotation, and wheel balancing.
Suttle vehicles to company truck shop or outside repair facilities as needed for repairs and maintenance
Perform regulatory recordkeeping tasks
Communicate with and work with a diverse group of individuals
All other related duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or Equivalent required
Must have verifiable experience driving a tractor-trailer or graduate of a CDL program
Excellent written and verbal communication skills-Advanced
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
CDL Class A license with a valid DOT physical with Tanker endorsement
Jockey and Forklift certification
DOT brake certification
light duty vehicles to class a maintenance
Minimum 5 years experience in vehicle repair and maintenance.
Knowledge/Skills
General math skills-Basic
Be able to keep all areas well maintained for safety purposes-Basic
Be able to read and interpret bill of ladings, invoices and customer orders-Advanced
Be able to fulfill customer orders with different types of product-Advanced
Must be able to operate a jockey truck moving 48’ and 53’ trailers on the yard-Advanced
