Position Summary


The Recruiter independently manages recruitment for assigned departments and positions from
requisition intake through offer acceptance. The role develops recruitment strategies, sources
and evaluates candidates, advises hiring managers, recommends candidates for selection, and
extends approved offers. The position supports clinical, healthcare, hospitality, culinary,
administrative, professional, and operational recruitment while promoting candidate quality,
compliance, staffing priorities, and operational effectiveness



How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Independently manages the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned positions, from
requisition intake through offer acceptance.
  • Consults with hiring managers to define staffing needs, position requirements,
qualifications, compensation, scheduling, recruitment priorities, and hiring timelines.
  • Develops and implements recruitment strategies based on business needs, position
complexity, labor market conditions, and candidate availability.
  • Sources candidates through a variety of channels, including job boards, direct sourcing,
employee referrals, professional networks, social media, educational institutions, community partnerships, workforce organizations, and recruitment events.
  • Build and maintains candidate pipelines for recurring, high-volume, specialized, and
hard-to-fill positions.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with educational institutions, professional
associations, community organizations, and workforce partners, and represents the
organization at career fairs, hiring events, and community outreach activities.
  • Prioritize recruitment activities based on staffing urgency, operational needs, and
organizational priorities.
  • Maintains ongoing communication with hiring managers and Human Resources
leadership regarding recruitment progress, candidate pipelines, hiring challenges, and
recommended actions.
  • Monitors recruitment metrics, evaluates sourcing effectiveness and hiring outcomes,
and recommends process improvements.

Candidate Evaluation and Hiring-Manager Consultation
  • Reviews applications and conducts candidate screenings to evaluate qualifications,
experience, credentials, skills, availability, and overall fit.
  • Determines candidate advancement based on established selection criteria and identify
when additional interviews, references, or consultation are required.
  • Presents qualified candidates to hiring managers with objective assessments of
qualifications, strengths, and potential concerns.
  • Advises hiring managers on candidate comparisons, selection practices, labor market
conditions, and hiring risks while supporting informed hiring decisions.
  • Identifies recruitment barriers, process delays, or inconsistent hiring practices and
recommends appropriate solutions.
  • Establishes expectations for interviews, candidate feedback, hiring timelines, and
recruitment service standards.
  • Escalates significant hiring, compliance, or operational concerns to Human Resources
leadership as appropriate.

Offer Management and Onboarding Transition
  • Verifies required approvals, compensation, position details, employment status,
scheduling, and start dates before extending offers.
  • Extends approved verbal and written offers, communicates employment terms and
contingencies, and manages candidate questions and negotiations within established
guidelines.
  • Maintains candidate communication through offer acceptance or withdrawal and
documents recruitment activity in the applicant tracking system.
  • Coordinates the transition of accepted candidates to onboarding by providing complete
and accurate hiring information and communicating any issues that may affect the start
date or employment eligibility.

Compliance, Analytics, and Process Improvement
  • Maintains accurate, complete, and timely recruitment documentation and applicant
tracking system records.
  • Ensures recruitment and selection activities comply with organizational policies,
employment laws, confidentiality standards, and equal employment practices.
  • Identifies and escalates potential compliance concerns, including discrimination,
retaliation, conflicts of interest, confidentiality, and recordkeeping issues.
  • Analyzes recruitment data to identify trends, evaluate recruitment effectiveness,
improve candidate experience, strengthen hiring manager engagement, and enhance
recruitment processes.
  • Maintains current knowledge of healthcare recruitment trends, labor market conditions,
recruitment technologies, and applicable employment requirements.
  • Uses recruitment technology, automation, and artificial intelligence tools responsibly,
ensuring appropriate human oversight, confidentiality, and independent validation.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.




What You’ll Bring

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience, preferably within healthcare, allied health, hospitality, professional services, or another high-volume recruiting environment.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.

Employment Requirements
