BARCC’s mission is to end sexual violence through healing, empowerment, and social change. BARCC empowers survivors of sexual violence to help find healing and seek justice in ways that are meaningful to them and works to provide education and advocacy needed to create social change and prevent sexual violence. We rely on our dedicated staff to do this important work, and our team is growing!

We are a collaborative, mission-driven team that values initiative, accountability, creativity, and shared ownership of outcomes.

Position Overview

BARCC is seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Community Engagement & Outreach Senior Manager to play a central role in strengthening the organization’s relationships across the communities BARCC serves. Reporting to the Senior Director of External Relations, this role is a key member of the External Relations team responsible for leading community outreach, partnership development, prevention education and training, and public engagement efforts.

This is a highly engaged, roll-up-your-sleeves role for someone who thrives in a relationship-driven, mission-focused environment and takes pride in building meaningful connections that advance impact. The Community Engagement & Outreach Senior Manager works across departments, manages complex collaborative projects, and brings initiative, adaptability, and strong follow-through to all aspects of the work.

The role ensures that BARCC’s community presence, training efforts, and outreach strategies are aligned, inclusive, and responsive to evolving community needs: directly supporting BARCC’s mission of ending sexual violence through healing and social change.

BARCC's staff, operations, hours, and location vary by function, type of work, and work style. This is a 32-hour per week full-time position. This position will work in a hybrid schedule with a minimum of two days on-site. Attendance at occasional evening or weekend events at BARCC offices and off-site may be required for this position. BARCC will engage in an interactive process regarding reasonable accommodations.
