Commercial Truck Buyer in Charlotte, North Carolina at Ameritruck, LLC

Ameritruck is seeking a motivated Commercial Truck Buyer to join our growing team. This position is responsible for identifying and acquiring quality used commercial trucks for our retail and wholesale operations. The ideal candidate will develop relationships with fleet companies, dealers, wholesalers, and other industry contacts while evaluating potential purchases based on market value, specifications, mileage, and condition.

This is a great opportunity for someone with commercial truck or sales experience who is confident negotiating deals, building relationships, and working in a fast-paced environment. We are also willing to train the right individual who has the drive to learn the commercial truck business and grow with our company.

This high-income opportunity ($100,000+) is ideal for individuals who like to be compensated for their production, as well as having a salary with great benefits.

$50,000 - $100,000+ yearly

• Source used commercial trucks through fleet and leasing companies, auctions, dealerships, wholesalers, trade-ins, and other approved channels

• Evaluate potential purchases with the team by using comparable sales, vehicle specifications, mileage, and current condition

• Develop and maintain productive vendor relationships and a reliable pipeline of acquisition opportunities

• Follow all dealership purchasing policies, confidentiality requirements, and applicable laws and regulations

• Prior experience buying or selling commercial trucks, medium-duty trucks, fleet vehicles, or similar sales experience is preferred

• Ability to negotiate effectively and make decisions in a fast-moving wholesale environment

• Strong organization, documentation, communication, and follow-through skills

• High level of integrity and the ability to handle pricing, vendor, customer, and company information confidentiality

• We are willing to train and develop skills for the right individual
