Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at Visiting Angels Charlottesville, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to our clients in their homes. In this role, youll collaborate closely with a dedicated team to ensure the well-being and comfort of those in our care. Whether you work full-time, part-time, or on-call weekend shifts, youll have the flexibility to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
2. Provide companionship and engage clients in social and recreational activities.
3. Provide medication reminders ONLY.
4. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients.
5. Collaborate with providers and nursing staff and family members to ensure care plans are followed and updated as needed.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassion and empathy towards clients and their families.
2. Excellent communication skills in English.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Prior experience in caregiving or a similar role is a plus.
5. Pass a background check and required certifications.
6. Possess a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

Bonus If You:

1. Have CPR and First Aid certification.
2. Speak additional languages to assist in communication with clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position offers Full-Time, Part-Time daily and weekend shifts and On-Call shifts Saturday and Sunday.
