Job Description
Position Summary
The HPP Production Worker supports High-Pressure Processing operations while promoting safety, maintaining a sanitary food-production environment, and ensuring that products meet company quality standards.
Essential Duties
- Operate HPP production equipment under the direction of the supervisor or lead.
- Load and unload HPP cylinders.
- Load, unload, package, and palletize finished products.
- Monitor equipment, gauges, pressure readings, processing times, and product flow.
- Verify product information, lot numbers, and date codes.
- Complete production records and other required paperwork accurately.
- Inspect products and report quality or food-safety concerns immediately.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and food-safety, quality, sanitation, and safety requirements.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and production areas using approved chemicals and procedures.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other approved material-handling equipment.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, leads, and employees in other departments.
- Participate in continuous-improvement efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous production or machine-operation experience preferred; training will be provided.
- Experience working in a food-manufacturing or cold-storage environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand product labels, date codes, instructions, and production documents.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to complete paperwork clearly and accurately.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adjust to changing production schedules and job duties.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be frequently exposed to slippery, wet, and cold conditions of approximately 35 degrees. The employee will work in a fast-paced food-manufacturing environment and operate HPP production and material-handling equipment while following all company safety, food-safety, quality, and sanitation policies and procedures.

Physical Demands:
The employee must be able to frequently lift or move items weighing up to 45 pounds. The position also requires maneuvering loads weighing up to 250 pounds across roller conveyors. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, reach, and use their hands and arms to handle products, operate equipment, and complete assigned production tasks.
