Axis Therapy Centers is seeking a dedicacated ABA Tech Supervisor to join our Ames team. The Tech Supervisor will perform a variety of duties including managing technicians, overseeing clinical needs, and maintaining compliance with insurance and regulatory requirements. Experience within the field of Applied Behavior Analysis preferred but not required.

Technician Supervisor Job duties and responsibilities:
Maintain oversight of all technicians (clinical and company procedures, daily workflow, training, supervision, and ensuring compliance with insurance requirements for session notes etc.).
Schedule and conduct technician interviews as directed by Clinic Supervisor.
Conduct new technician onboarding.
Oversee training for new technicians (outline training schedule on TeamUp, conduct PPT trainings, assign and follow up on learning activities, and coordinate observations with designated RBTs).
Assist with general oversight of the clinic as directed by Clinic Supervisor.
Review and approve payroll time tracking and time-off requests for technicians.
Conduct Performance Evaluations for all technicians.
Conduct Corrective Action and PIP meetings for all technicians as directed by Clinic Supervisor.
Work closely with Clinic Supervisor, Clinic Coordinators, and Scheduler regarding clinic policies and procedures, scheduling, and communication with families.
Conduct session conversion checks at the end of each week - follow up and confirm all sessions are converted prior to Monday morning (communicate any barriers to Clinic Supervisor and RCM team).
Attend weekly schedule review meetings with Scheduler (review and monitor TeamUp to ensure adequate client coverage, tech breaks, balance of direct/indirect time, and daily/weekly cleaning tasks).
Assist with adjusting technicians TeamUp schedules for day-of changes when requested by Scheduler.
Conduct and document check-in meetings with technicians.
Participate in leadership training and development opportunities.
Assist in all staff training and training to outside organizations.
Assists with clinical needs and oversight as needed (assess client illness, incident reports, etc).
Assist with the creation and improvement of clinic or department-specific procedures as needed.
Conduct Competency Assessments for technicians (BCBAs can assist)
Oversee monthly fidelity checks for all technicians and give performance feedback, review current strengths and deficits, etc. (BCBAs can assist).
Supervise Interns/Trainees/BCBA students and communicate with program managers as needed.
Carry a small caseload for the purpose of trainee experience with the goal to transition to trainees caseload.
Technician Supervisor Requirements:
Experience working with children with autism and special needs
Experience managing a team
Knowledge of company policies and procedures
Preferred but not necessary:
Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) granted by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and Licensed in the state of Iowa granted by The Board of Behavioral Science
Direct Report:
The Technician Supervisor reports directly to the Clinic Supervisor and works closely with the Clinical Director, Clinic Coordinator, RCM team, and Authorization Specialist.
Pay: $60k-$80k based on qualifications and experience.
