Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position will be responsible for leadership of all clinical divisions of the department of Pathology - Aanatomic Pathology (AP), Clinical Pathology (CP), Informatics etc. The AP and CP Chiefs and Division directors will report to this position. If the candidate is an AP pathologist he or she will be signing out cases in their subspecialty to generate their wRVU. Theoretically it could also be an Autopsy pathologist, in which case their wRVU would be adjusted. If a CP person they will participate accordingly. They will take call. This is envisioned as someone who might come from Surgical Path, Cytopath, Hemepath, Molecular, or any of the CP specialties. They will also be the point of contact for clinical division chiefs of other departments, work closely with the leadership of the health system, participate in GME and UME education and curriculum development in collaboration with the program directors. Mentorship of residents, fellows, and all clinical faculty is essential. Priority will be given to candidates with experience and interest in digital pathology, informatics and AI.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
MD, DO, or MD/PhD in related field

SALARY:
Commensurate with experience.

- Candidate will need to have 5-10 years of clinical experience and at least 3-5 years of prior leadership experience and a track record of clinical and educational excellence and scholarly productivity.
