Job Description

XTL Transport has been a trusted employer for technicians and drivers for over 37 years. We’re currently seeking an experienced Commercial Tire Technician to join our team.

Employees are offered a competitive compensation package that includes:

  • Competitive wages of $25 to $30/hour, depending on experience

  • Full‑time schedule: 5 days/week, 8 hours/day (Monday–Friday)

Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience as a commercial tire technician

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to inspect, diagnose, repair, and replace commercial truck tires

  • Ability to maintain shop equipment and follow operating instructions

  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

  • Ability to manage inventory of tire‑related stock

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Follow and maintain all safety measures according to company policy and procedures

  • Interact courteously with fellow employees, drivers, and supervisors

  • Perform job‑related duties as assigned

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair tire‑related issues on commercial vehicles

  • Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires

  • Conduct routine maintenance and ensure proper torque and inflation standards

  • Maintain logs and records using company software

  • Assist with pre‑ and post‑trip inspections

  • Report any safety or repair concerns to the shop supervisor
