CNC Machinist Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines
- Work with multi-axis mills and lathes in an aerospace machining environment
- Machine precision aerospace components to tight tolerances
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and GD&T callouts
- Adjust tooling, offsets, feeds, and speeds to maintain quality standards
- Perform in-process inspections and final quality verification
- Troubleshoot machining and setup issues
- Collaborate with engineering and programming teams on process improvements
CNC Machinist Qualifications
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience in aerospace, turbine, or precision manufacturing
- Experience with multi-axis CNC equipment
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
- Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, Makino, or Mitsubishi controls preferred
- Strong inspection and precision measurement skills
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
