This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Administrador de Dados - Engenharia e modelagem in Brazil.
This role plays a key part in designing, maintaining, and evolving enterprise data structures that support both operational and analytical systems. You will be responsible for ensuring data models are consistent, scalable, and aligned with business rules across complex environments. The position involves working across relational, analytical, and NoSQL ecosystems, supporting BI, Big Data, and executive reporting initiatives. You will collaborate closely with DBAs, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality data architecture and efficient information flow. The role also includes governance, metadata quality, and integration support across multiple platforms and tools. It is a strategic and hands-on position where your work directly impacts data reliability, performance, and decision-making across the organization.
- Design, maintain, and evolve conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business requirements and information needs.
- Ensure data normalization, consistency, and reduction of redundancy across enterprise data structures.
- Define and implement data access security procedures in alignment with governance and compliance standards.
- Optimize data models considering physical implementation constraints and database performance improvements.
- Collaborate with DBAs and engineering teams to define and support data distribution and physical data architecture.
- Support the design and implementation of BI, Big Data, and analytics architectures, including dashboards and executive indicators.
- Develop and promote best practices in data architecture, BI, and data governance across the organization.
- Contribute to integration strategies using ETL processes, database links, and other data integration mechanisms.
- Write and maintain SQL scripts for data validation, reporting, and structural analysis.
- Participate in data governance methodology definition and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent postgraduate specialization (minimum 360 hours) in IT.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data modeling and integration of large-scale datasets in analytical and transactional environments.
- Strong knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling concepts.
- Advanced SQL skills (DDL, DML, DCL) for data manipulation, validation, and structure design.
- Experience with database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with data modeling tools such as PowerDesigner, Erwin, or CA-Gen.
- Knowledge of ETL processes, database links, and data integration mechanisms (e.g., Informatica PowerCenter or similar tools).
- Experience defining and working with data governance and metadata quality practices.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to data consistency, performance, and scalability.
