Job Summary:

Atlas Asset Management is seeking a bilingual English/Spanish Property Manager to oversee a designated portfolio of multifamily properties on the South Side of Chicago. Because this role works directly with a significant number of Spanish-speaking residents, professional conversational fluency in both English and Spanish is required. This full-time role offers a $65,000 base salary plus annual bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

The Property Manager is responsible for the resident relationship from move-in forward. You will serve as the primary point of contact for residents, helping resolve issues, communicating policies, posting notices, coordinating inspections, and facilitating lease renewals.

Responsibilities:
- Lease Renewals: Proactively engage with residents to facilitate the lease renewal process
- Own the resident relationship from move in forward
- Post Notices at buildings
- Attend Inspections
- Last line of collections: Work directly with residents if our collections team needs additional support
- Complete property walks and proactive maintenance checklists: Ensures we are taking proactive measures to keep our residents happy and buildings in great shape.
Enforce lease and company policies amongst residents

Requirements:
- Fluency in conversational Spanish and English is required. This position regularly communicates directly with Spanish-speaking residents regarding leases, maintenance, collections, inspections, notices, and other property matters.
- Previous experience in property management, real estate, or customer service in a related field.
- Strong resident-facing communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate communication between residents and company teams, including maintenance and construction.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel regularly between assigned properties.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Comfortable working independently in the field and conducting regular building/property walks.

This is a field-based Property Manager position. Reliable transportation is required, as you will regularly travel between properties throughout your assigned South Side Chicago portfolio.
